Marcelo Bocardo Winemakers Selection
Mendoza, Argentina
About the Wine
Marcelo Bocardo is a third-generation winemaker who selects the best of Mendoza’s terroirs. The winery operates three vineyards located in Maipú (Certified Organic), Luján de Cuyo, and El Cepillo (Sustainably Grown) at altitudes ranging between 2,600 and 3,900 feet above sea level. These elevations result in grapes with a higher concentration of color, aromas, and flavors.
This wine is a blend of Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Cab Franc; and spends 15 months in french oak barrels. This well-balanced, elegant blend has distinctive notes of bright plum, blueberry and cassis with a hint of chocolate on the long finish.
