About the Wine
The Chave family has been making wine since the 1400’s. Jean-Louis Chave, the 16th generation to run the winery, makes Chave Sélection from a series of vineyards that he has acquired or replanted over the past few decades. Jean-Louis Chave Selections, his négociant line which sources grapes from various areas in the northern Rhône, represents a more accessible way for the consumer to experience the wines of the Chave family. This wine is elegant and lively with light floral notes, raspberry, cherry, dark berries, and peppery herbs. It is medium bodied with a lingering finish.
