About the Wine
This charming red blend from central Italy comes from Agricola La Segreta, a small family-owned and certified organic farm near Todi in Umbria.
Founded by Lorenzo de Monaco and Eileen Holland, the estate focuses on low-intervention winemaking and native Italian grapes. Freghino is a Sangiovese-led blend with a splash of Colorino and Malvasia Nera, resulting in a juicy, medium-bodied red with flavors of cherry, plum, wild herbs, and a gentle rustic edge.
Smooth tannins and fresh acidity make it an easy-drinking red that pairs beautifully with pizza, grilled vegetables, or charcuterie. Best served slightly chilled.
